This past weekend, Atlanta lit up with purpose, power, and passion at the 1st Annual Life Appreciation Gala, hosted by Auntie Angie’s House—an event dedicated to celebrating the warriors among us who fight every day to protect life, champion justice, and build a lasting legacy of hope.
The gala brought together leaders from across the nation; activists, influencers, campaigners, and healers, for an unforgettable night of unity and recognition. In a room full of change-makers and visionaries, Egypt, founder of the Fight 4 Mental Health movement, delivered a heartfelt message of gratitude and solidarity. He spoke powerfully about the importance of protecting minds as well as lives and was honored with a special award for his continued efforts in representing the cause of mental health on a national and global stage.
Although Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was unable to attend in person, his presence was still felt as members of his campaign team joined the celebration to show their support for Auntie Angie and the vital work being done in communities that often go overlooked.
“This night was about more than just recognition, it was about reflection, purpose, and community,” Egypt shared. “Mental health is the fight of our generation, and standing beside Auntie Angie and her mission is an honor.”
The evening was filled with laughter, tears, praise, and renewed determination. It reminded us that behind every movement are real people real stories and real love. Whether advocating for those behind bars, supporting single mothers, or standing up for mental health, the leaders celebrated on this night are building bridges toward healing and legacy.
To everyone who showed up, stood tall, and shared their light thank you. Your presence matters. Your work matters. Your life matters.
Let this be the first of many nights where we don’t just talk about change we celebrate it.
Join us. Support this mission. Help carry the legacy forward.
